We conducted primary research to see what our target audience expected to see in a Thriller opening sequence. We also asked them various other questions about them personally and their experience with films. We did this to help get an idea of what we should include in our own Thriller opening sequence.
Harry, Scott and myself individually gave our questionnaire to 10 people of a range of age groups. We decided that our target audience were people in the age groups of 16-24 and 25-34. Although it proved difficult to get many participants in the latter age group; we recieved a lot of data from people within the former age group. The results of our questionnaire are as follows:
